Business Process Management is part of the Execution phase of the Kinetix Strategy Methodology .  Developing solid business processes and controls around those processes are an important part of developing a foundation for scalable growth. As companies grow, the number of transactions increases along with the number of people involved in the process.  At the beginning of each growth phase the systems work very well.  As a company experiences growth the systems start to be taxed more and more until finally they reach critical volume.  At this point the company's processes and systems need to be upgraded.  

When a company grows above its critical volume for its current processes and controls, the systems start to break down.  Employees can become frustrated.  Customers can become frustrated.  Opportunities are missed.  If these systems are not addressed this can become a limiting factor in the company's growth.  Typically these critical volume levels are reached before anyone notices and processes begin to break down.  A growing company entering a new phase typically has never experienced this phase before and can struggle through the critical volume levels to get to the next phase of growth.
